Music Playlist Stories
The closest physical art I can compare these stories to are Jukebox Musicals. However, instead of focusing a plot around a single artist (or single discography) I use a plethora of different songs and genres, dissect the lyrics and sonic symbolism, and create new stories.
To create these stories I will ask friends, acquaintances, or complete strangers to give me one of three things: a title, a plot, or a phrase. From there, I create a story - using pre-existing songs - inspired from whatever slice of information I was given.
Songs are meant to be heard, of course; however, when lyrics are read - truly read - it creates a completely different experience. An experience which allows new art to be birthed. Creating new art from old is what I do with these playlists.
It is highly advised upon your first listen to read the accompanying lyrical manuscript as you listen to ensure the story being told is the same one originally crafted. However, after your first listen, the interpretation is completely up to you. Perhaps you discovered a thread I did not.

Titularly inspired by my friend Anna, this 10 chapter story follows the anti-love story of strangers-by-choice, Reed and Viola. Sometimes it all becomes too real too fast. Sometimes the only choice you have is to run, but the direction in which you run changes everything.
